The park will accompany Nuryot to the west and Narkissim, the neighborhood adjacent to it to the south, and will form the central green lung of the entire Zirifin complex. It will include lawns, lakes, picnic areas, a variety of play and fitness facilities, and even climbing walls and a special track for extreme cycling (pump track), along with historic buildings that will be preserved and a cafe. A network of comfortable walking and cycling paths will cross the park along its length and width, and will be integrated into the neighborhoods themselves, so that the transition from it to the residential areas will be easy and inviting. The conversion of Camp Tsripin into Tsripin Park is somewhat reminiscent of the High Line in New York – which was once an abandoned railroad, and became an urban park that rejuvenated the surrounding neighborhoods and raised real estate prices in them.

Also on the green side, Noriot is also a neighborhood without garbage trucks – it was designed with a pneumatic system, so that the garbage flows in underground pipes from the buildings to a central collection facility, and trucks do not enter the neighborhood or block traffic on the inner streets.

The brown line: leave the car at home
Despite the emphasis on a green living environment, Noryot’s urban aspect is not lacking either: in addition to two local commercial centers, commerce in the neighborhood is planned in the facades of the buildings that will be built along its main streets, so that they will become lively public boulevards. Of course, the brown line is also expected to be added to this, which will run from 2028 right inside the neighborhood – a great advantage that will allow many of the residents to get to and from work, and in general to get around the central area, without having to move their car from the parking lot.

The brown line is an innovative public transportation service that is part of the light rail system, but in practice it is more similar to the Matron in Haifa and includes frequent buses – every 4 minutes – that will travel on exclusive routes. The brown line will quickly and efficiently link Noriot with the center and west of Rishon Lezion, past the College of Administration and the Moshe Dayan train station to the developing Alef complex where there are a variety of employment and commercial opportunities, along with a (future) connection to the red line of the light rail. In the other direction, the brown line will connect the neighborhood with Beer Ya’akov, Ramla and Lod.

The first cluster of kindergartens in the Nuriot neighborhood opened already this year, and it includes 5 kindergarten classes and 3 daycare classes, while next year additional kindergartens and an elementary school are to be opened in Kiryat HaHachanun. More mature students can currently walk to the high school that opened this year in the adjacent Narcisim neighborhood, but in the future this too will be spared from them, as another high school is to be opened in Kiryat HaHachanun itself. A synagogue will also open in the neighborhood next year, alongside a conservatory, a preschool center, a classroom center, a youth movement nest, a public library, and more.

Prices: expected to rise
The veteran and respected Shabiru Enterprises and Construction Group has been building the country since 1944.
